Remaining Schedule for the upcoming 2026 Season will all be national game in Texas.
The Joplin Crusaders have won 13th League Championship titles in 27 seasons as a semi pro football organization. The Joplin Crusaders finished the 2025 CMFL season will an overall record of 13-2. The Joplin Crusaders coasted through most of the season with a light roster due to injuries but kept finding a way to win week in and week out. Even though they didn’t three peat they only lost 2 games by a total of 2 points. Wild to think if some of their key players don’t get hurt what would have been in store for them would have been another 3 peat season being crowned CMFL Champions. But it wasn’t in the cards and the Joplin Crusaders fell short in the playoffs looking by 1 point. But don’t count them out as they rolled 80 yards in the pouring rain and no timeouts to make it to the 1 yard line to lose to the Tulsa Gators. The Joplin Crusaders didn’t really have a solid Quarterback play with over 7 different players on the team taking snaps through out the season and 5 different QBs throwing touchdowns throughout the season. Terrell “Jokiem” Crawford, Daquan Johnson, and Ryan Johnson shared most of the time through out the season. Head Coach, Sam Sturgis said we just have a lot of well rounded athletes but guys like Jokiem and Daquan can play anything and make a difference. Jokiem was granted 2025 OMVP for the Joplin Crusaders this season for his leadership and just took over games himself, I love this kid and I wish I had a team full of players like him as it would make our jobs easier. I hope to see him more on the offensive side of the ball this coming year as he is going to do great things.
If you are interested in coming to join the hard hitting fun as a player or a coach feel free to reach out to Coach Dylan Mills or Coach Sam Sturgis. You can reach the team the following ways.
